We join together today with our fellow Americans in remembering the life of our 35th president, John F. Kennedy.  President Kennedy is remembered as one of our nation’s most inspirational leaders, and while fifty years later his tragic death remains a dark moment in our nation’s history, the legacy he left behind will never die.  From the moon landing to the birth of the Peace Corps to equal rights, President Kennedy’s tremendous contributions not only live on in all Americans, but in all those who strive for freedom throughout the world.  As we honor President Kennedy today, may we also honor and cherish all that is good about our great nation.
