As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves in the United States, the American Beverage Association and our member companies are taking prudent actions that follow guidance from federal, state and local authorities. Our top priority during this challenging time remains the safety and health of the communities we serve across America.

We are following the guidance of federal health agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as it relates to the production and delivery of our products as well as the safety and well-being of our employees, consumers and customers.

As for packaged food products, including beverages, being sold in stores, according to the CDC and FDA, there is currently no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with the transmission of COVID-19. The FDA reminds all Americans to follow good hygiene practices, including when handling and preparing foods.

We will continue to monitor the latest developments and guidance on the coronavirus from federal, state and local health authorities and follow recommended protocols.
