Happy July! This month brings fireworks, barbeques, pools and rising temperatures. But did you know that July is also National Ice Cream Month? In 1984, President Ronald Reagan recognized the need to celebrate this fun food and declared a national holiday. In his declaration he said that ice cream was enjoyed by 90 percent of the population and encouraged everyone to observe this holiday with "appropriate ceremonies and activities."
