Today is Give to the Max Day in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. Community non-profits are uniting together in a fundraising effort to raise $3 million dollars in 24 hours.  The effort encourages individuals to give to their favorite local charities that benefit causes in their own backyards.

Throughout the years, thousands of cases of beverages and millions of meals have been provided to those in need through the beverage industry’s work with Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.
