Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs for winning the World Series last night, their first since 1908!

Throughout their playoff run and the World Series, fans from around the country rallied around the Cubs as they attempted to lift what many believed was a “curse” on the team that had lasted 108 years. Not only did their exciting run to become World Champions unite those in Chicago who have stood by the Cubs all their lives, but they united fans across the country who couldn’t help but celebrate the history making performance from this year’s team.
