Today, President Trump signed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) into law, a great win that will create certainty for our industry, its workers and the communities we serve. See below for an official statement from ABA's President and CEO Katherine Lugar:

"The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is a victory for American workers, businesses and the economy. On behalf of America's leading beverage companies, we applaud the president and congressional leaders for getting this historic trade agreement signed into law."

Our industry employs more than 264,000 hard-working Americans, contributes $189.3 billion in direct economic impact and provides nearly $21 billion in wages and benefits. According to the U.S. International Trade Commission, this trade agreement will create an estimated 176,000 to 589,000 new jobs in the United States.

We commend the president and congressional leaders for signing this agreement into law, ensuring our country continues to lead the global economy.
