At Sip & Savor, we like to highlight random acts of kindness and thought we'd bring this heart-warming story from Milwaukee to your attention. The North side of Milwaukee was hit with snow this week - the same colossal snow storm that crippled mobility in other parts of the country.

Perhaps feeling a bit of cabin fever, a group of young boys in Milwaukee got themselves bundled up to go outside and play in the snow. What started as fun exercise in their own front yard turned into the group clearing snow from their neighbor's sidewalk and driveway. But they didn’t stop there - before they knew it, they had moved from house to house down the block, shoveling snow from walkways for most of the residents of their neighborhood.

When asked by a reporter why they were doing it, the boys explained that most of their neighbors are elderly and would have had a tough time clearing their property. They said that they weren't seeking payment for their work, because they thought it was simply just the right thing to do. As one of the boys put it, “it just feels good doing good deeds for other people."

Keep up the good work, guys! We commend you for your hard work and dedication to your community.
