Today’s world offers a number of opportunities for those who want to work in the health and nutrition space – and one of those is as a registered dietitian or RD.  According to the American Dietetic Association, which is the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, approximately 50 percent of RDs hold advanced degrees, and some hold additional certifications in specialized areas, such as pediatric nutrition or diabetes education. Some work with industry, some go into private practice, the options are many.
