While we're all preparing for Thanksgiving and getting ready to enjoy our annual feast of turkey, we thought we'd remind people that just one week from today, the Members of the 111th Congress return to the nation's capitol for the remainder of the "lame duck" session.   If you happen to be unaware of what that means exactly, a "lame duck" session of Congress occurs whenever one Congress meets after its successor is elected, but before the successor's term begins.

While Congress is on recess this week, they will be back next Monday for the last part of lame duck.  We hope they are able to tackle some of the remaining issues before them.  But, equally as important, we'd like to thank all of the members of the 111th Congress for their service.
